Fomblin® M60 Perfluoropolyether lubricant
Fomblin® M Series PFPE Oil
Fomblin® M Series perfluoropolyether (PFPE) lubricants offer the superior base characteristics typical of fluorinated greases, including excellent chemical resistance, thermal stability, oxidation resistance, and compatibility with metals, rubber, and plastics. These lubricants are widely used in applications such as optical discs, compressed disks, and electric motor bearings.
Formulated with high-viscosity-index linear PFPE base oils, Fomblin® M lubricants deliver low torque, minimal evaporation loss, and a broad operating temperature range. Beyond the standard benefits of fluorinated lubricants,
Fomblin® M oils provide enhanced performance in the following areas:
- High viscosity index
- Excellent anti-corrosion and anti-fretting properties
- Superior low-temperature fluidity
- Extremely low starting torque
- Ultra-low surface tension and high permeability
- Strong affinity to metal surfaces
Typical Applications:
Fomblin® M lubricants are ideal for use in:
- Air conditioning systems
- Needle bearings
- Fuel pumps
- Robotic arm greases
- Semiconductor cleanrooms and vacuum pump bearings
- Precision components in machine tools, such as ball screws
- High-speed exhaust fan bearings in chemical processing
- Corrugating machinery
- Low-temperature processing equipment
- Aerospace turbines, fuel nozzles, flap and slat actuators, spacecraft, aerospace navigation systems
- High-precision medical devices and instruments
