The Syensqo Fomblin® Y Series is a general-purpose grade of perfluoropolyether (PFPE) lubricants, specifically engineered for applications involving extreme conditions such as high temperatures, heavy loads, and aggressive chemical or oxidative environments. With exceptional chemical inertness, Fomblin® Y is particularly well-suited for cleanroom environments and applications requiring long-term or permanent lubrication.

Fomblin® Y greases are white, homogeneous lubricants with outstanding oxidative and chemical resistance. They are fully compatible with materials such as glass, metals, elastomers, plastics, and ceramics. Their properties remain stable across wide temperature ranges, ensuring reliable performance even under severe thermal variations.

These greases perform reliably in the presence of water, oils, steam, and common organic compounds or solvents without hydrolysis, corrosion, or degradation. Fomblin® Y also offers excellent resistance to fretting and vibration-induced corrosion. Typical applications include low-temperature refrigeration systems, optical instruments, precision devices, semiconductor manufacturing, corrugating machines, textile equipment, hot air motor bearings, packaging machinery, printing and plate-making equipment, stenter machines, paint-curing lines, conveyor systems, and various vacuum-based machinery.
